Length of Tour:
Approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on group size.
The Summer Berry Patch Tour is designed to introduce young students to the life cycle of berries, the farming process, and the joy of harvesting fresh fruit. Children will learn about how strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries grow at Patterson Farm while exploring agriculture through fun, hands-on experiences. Activities include berry picking, a wagon ride around the farm, a visit with our farm animals, and an engaging educational presentation about how berries are grown and harvested. This curriculum-aligned tour brings classroom concepts to life while giving students a true farm-to-field experience.
Tour Includes:
- Berry Patch Theater Presentation: All about berries. Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries & Raspberries!
Choose to view on the farm or in your classroom ahead of time for more farm time! - Expanded Farm Animal Experience: Feed & interact with friendly barnyard animals
- Pick-Your-Own Pint of berries (Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or raspberries–whichever are in season!) Every student, teacher, and chaperone gets a pint!

What is Agmagination?
Agmagination is our farm’s dramatic play area where kids explore the world of agriculture careers. Through imaginative role-play, they’ll learn about jobs like beekeeper, produce vendor, and soil scientist in a mini farm town setting.
