Join us for the Butterflies, Bees & Blooms Tour, an engaging, hands-on experience that explores the fascinating world of pollinators and garden life. Students will learn about honeybees—including the roles of queen, worker, and drone bees—and discover the bee life cycle and the important work bees do to keep our farms growing.
Beyond bees, students will also explore the colorful world of butterflies and other insects, learning how to identify beneficial insects that help plants thrive, as well as common garden pests. Through fun, interactive discussions, children will begin to understand how all insects play a role in the farm ecosystem.
Through hands-on activities, students will see firsthand how pollination helps flowers, fruits, and vegetables grow. As part of their visit, they will head into our farm garden to pick their own fresh flowers, creating a meaningful connection to the pollination process and the beauty it produces.
This tour brings science to life by connecting classroom concepts to real-world agriculture in a fun, memorable way.

What is Agmagination?
Agmagination is our farm’s interactive dramatic play area where kids can explore the world of agriculture careers. Through imaginative role-play, children step into the shoes of farmers and agricultural professionals while discovering how food and fiber are produced.
In our mini farm town setting, they can participate in hands-on activities connected to careers such as beekeeper, veterinarian, produce vendor, dairy farmer, chef, and more. These experiences help children learn about the many important jobs that support agriculture. Through play, creativity, and exploration, Agmagination brings the story of farming to life.
