Road Construction Notice: April 6 - July 31, 2026
From April 6 through July 31, 2026, construction will be underway to replace the existing bridge over Kerr Creek on Caldwell Rd. During this time, Patterson Farm Market & Tours will not be accessible via Millbridge Rd. The farm will remain OPEN throughout the construction period.
Please use the alternative directions below to reach the farm:
From NC Hwy 150 (Mooresville Rd):
Guests traveling via NC Hwy 150 can continue to turn at the intersection of NC Hwy 150 and Caldwell Rd to access Patterson Farm.
From Millbridge Rd:
Guests who typically travel via Millbridge Rd will need to reroute and enter through the intersection of NC Hwy 150 and Caldwell Rd.

Check out our tour packages and pick the one just right for your class. All tours are by appointment only. Combination tours on a single visit are available. Title 1 schools receive $1 discount per student.
Strawberry Tour
April 20 – May 29, 2026, Monday thru Friday
Investigate and explore everything there is to know about strawberries. Why are these sweet things called “straw”berries? Can you guess? There’s a hands-on activity and a hayride to the strawberry patch where students will each pick a pint of berries to take home. Puppet show or DVD options.
Home School Days
Spring: Thursday, May 14, 2026
Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. is offering two days, one in Fall and one in Spring, dedicated to accommodate the different ages and interests of Home School Students. During these two special days, we are offering different topics throughout the day.
Dirt on Dirt
March 9 – 27, 2026, Monday thru Friday
Learn about the importance of soil to farmers, plants, and our planet. While it can be modified for any age, this tour is promoted for 3rd graders as it meets N.C. Common Core Standards for Third Grade.
Special Needs Days
Spring: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
Twice a year, during the Fall and Spring season we host Special Needs Days. Special Needs Day is designed for our staff to meet any special needs our guests may have. Special Needs Day is space is limited and is by reservation only.
Farmer for the Day
March 30 – April 17, 2026, Monday thru Friday
Experience a day in the life of a farmer with a walk around the farm and stops at interactive learning stations. Students gather produce from each station to “sell” at the farmer’s market for a Patterson Farm Buck, redeemable for a treat.
