Student: $14.00
Chaperone/Siblings (Under age 2 are Free)**: $14.00
Teachers: FREE
Chaperones/siblings participate in tour activities, get 1 scoop of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream.
*Title 1 Schools receive a $1.00 discount per student.
**Teachers & Chaperones receive 10% off Market purchases.

Length of Tour:
Approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on group size.
Let your students step into the boots of a real farmer during this hands-on farm adventure designed especially for young learners. On the Farmer for the Day Tour, children rotate through engaging farm-themed stations, complete fun “farm jobs,” and collect pretend farm goods to sell at the Farmer’s Market.
As a reward for their hard work, each student earns a Patterson Farm Buck, redeemable for ice cream or water from the Market.
This tour supports early elementary learning by introducing students to agriculture, science, food systems, and community roles through imagination, movement, and play.
Minimum of 10 paying guests/Maximum of 125 total Participants (Students, Parents, & Teachers).
If your group is expected to be larger than 125, please split your group and book two separate times on the same day. You all may arrive at the same time and play or eat lunch while waiting on your tour to begin.
Tour Includes:
- Barnyard Theater Presentation: Choose to watch the video at the farm or in your classroom before your visit to allow more time for farm play.
- Interactive Learning Stations
- The Barnyard: Visit and learn about farm animals
- The Insect Garden: Discover whether insects are friends or foes
- The Bee Barn: Learn why pollinators are important
- The Vegetable Garden: Explore where food begins
- The Apple Orchard: See how apples grow
- The Dairy Barn: Learn about milk and dairy products
- The Chicken Coop: Follow the journey from egg to chicken
- The Planting Shed: Identify the parts of a plant
- The Farmer’s Market: “Sell” gathered goods and earn a Farm Buck
- Student Perks

What is Agmagination?
Agmagination is our hands-on dramatic play area where children explore agriculture careers through role-play. From beekeepers to soil scientists to produce sellers, students can imagine themselves in real-world farm and food-system jobs while learning through creative play.
