Length of Tour:
Approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on group size.

Students will have a hands-on learning experience at the Mining Sluice, where they will discover and identify various minerals and gemstones. Our Mining Sluice is a lesson in itself! Hand-built and designed specifically for our farm using old farm equipment, the sluice itself is an opportunity to learn about farm history, the rocky cycle, and fossils. After each student discovers their gems they will be given an identification card to accurately identify exactly what they found.

Minimum of 10 paying guests/Maximum of 125 total Participants (Students, Parents, & Teachers).
If your group is expected to be larger than 125, please split your group and book two separate times on the same day. You all may arrive at the same time and play or eat lunch while waiting on your tour to begin.
