Strawberry Patch Tour

Length of Tour:
Approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on group size.

Strawberry Patch Tour Objectives:
The Strawberry Patch Tour is designed to introduce young students to the life cycle of a strawberry, the farming process, and the joy of harvesting their own fruit. Children will explore agriculture through fun, hands-on learning including strawberry picking, a wagon ride, a visit with our farm animals, and an educational presentation. This curriculum-aligned tour brings classroom concepts to life!

Tour Includes the following:

• Strawberry Patch Theater Presentation: Choose to view on the farm or in your classroom ahead of time for more farm time!

  • Monday & Tuesday: Puppet Show Presentation
  • Wednesday – Friday: Educational Video “Strawberry Life Cycle”
• Tractor-drawn wagon ride
• Expanded Farm Animal Experience: Feed & interact with friendly barnyard animals
• Pick-Your-Own Pint of Strawberries: Every student, teacher, and chaperone gets a pint!A pint of pick your own strawberries from the Strawberry Patch for students, teachers & chaperones.

All tours include access to Pawpaw Carl’s Playground, our expanded Agmagination and Picnic Area. Participants are welcome to visit these areas prior to or after their tour.

What is Agmagination?
Agmagination is our farm’s dramatic play area where kids explore the world of agriculture careers. Through imaginative role-play, they’ll learn about jobs like beekeeper, produce vendor, and soil scientist in a mini farm town setting.
