The Farmer For The Day Tour gives children the experience of a day in the life of a farmer. The purpose of this tour is to enhance a child’s understanding of the hard work and dedication it takes to be a farmer. Participants will “work” around the farm experiencing various interactive learning stations. From each station, participants will gather products and eventually “sell” them at our farmer market where they will earn a Patterson Farm Buck that is redeemable for ice cream or water from our market. This tour follows the Core Curriculum and will last approximately one hour.

Tour Includes:

  • New for 2025, we will be offering the option to see the Video prior to your tour in your classroom or facility. This option will allow you more time to enjoy the farm facilities while you are at the farm including our expanded Agmagination, an interactive discovery area to explore Ag Careers.
