If you’ve ever traveled down Highway 150 between Mooresville and Salisbury, you’re familiar with Patterson Farm’s humorous sign enticing you to visit our ice cream shop.
Stopping in this area for quality dairy products is nothing new. Our market site is the former location of the Graham Brothers’ Dairy, Phyllis Graham Patterson’s family business and home place. Now, it’s home to another quality product – Patterson’s fresh farm-made ice cream.
We’ve served hand-dipped ice cream for years, but in 2021 decided to make the “moo-ve” to produce our own ice cream, on-site, using fresh-from-the-farm strawberries.
Today, visitors to our market enjoy fresh, farm-made strawberry ice cream and other classics – vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan, cookies & cream, and cookie monster. We also offer rotating seasonal flavors like strawberry shortcake, pumpkin cheesecake, cinnamon bun, gingerbread, coffee toffee, and many more.
Our staff can’t wait to serve you our homemade ice cream in the flavor of your choice – in a cup, a cone, a shake, or along with your other favorite flavors in an ice cream flight. If you’re looking for something extra special, try one of our souvenir shakes – a decadent treat sure to please the whole family. Patterson Farm’s ice cream is fresh, local, and delicious; three fantastic reasons to hit the brakes on your “horses” and turn around for a visit.
