Summer Camp on the Farm at Patterson Farm
Summer is one of the most exciting times of year at Patterson Farm, and we love welcoming children to experience the farm through our Summer Camp program. Camp is a wonderful opportunity for kids to spend time outdoors, explore agriculture, and make new friends while enjoying hands-on activities on the farm.
Each week of camp offers a fun and engaging experience designed to help children connect with nature, learn about farming, and enjoy the simple joy of spending time outside.
Our summer camps run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., giving campers a full morning of adventure, learning, and farm fun.
A Hands-On Farm Experience
At Patterson Farm Summer Camp, kids get the chance to experience life on the farm in a way that is both educational and exciting. Campers participate in a variety of hands-on activities that introduce them to agriculture, animals, and the natural world.
Throughout the week, campers will:
• Meet and interact with farm animals
• Explore crops and learn how food grows
• Participate in farm-themed crafts and projects
• Enjoy outdoor games and group activities
• Take part in agriculture-based learning experiences
Our goal is to provide an experience that encourages curiosity, teamwork, and creativity while helping campers build a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from.

Junior Camp Counselor Program
For older students who enjoy working with younger children and want to gain leadership experience, Patterson Farm also offers a Junior Camp Counselor program for ages 12–14.
Junior Camp Counselors assist our camp staff with daily activities, help guide campers through stations and games, and serve as positive role models for younger campers. It’s a great opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and gain valuable experience in a supportive farm environment.
