Here’s one way to plan the perfect fall day at Patterson Farm!
1. Start by Purchasing Your Tickets Online
Your perfect farm day can start before you ever leave home!
Purchase your Fall Fun on the Farm tickets online and select your arrival time before heading to the farm.
Not only does purchasing ahead make arrival easier, but you’ll also save $3 per ticket compared with purchasing admission at the gate.
Then gather the family, throw on your favorite fall outfit, and head to Patterson Farm!
Check In — Then Fuel Up for the Fun
Is there really a better way to start a fall day than with a fresh farm donut?
Grab a donut and pair it with a hot cider or refreshing cider slushie before you head into Fall Fun. It’s the perfect little taste of fall to kick off your visit.
Then, check in at our Ticket Booth by the grey silo to receive your wristbands and get ready for your farm adventure.
But before you get too far…
3. Head Toward the Barn & Corn Maze
Next, make your way toward the barn and start exploring!
Visit the animals, take in the sights and sounds of the farm, and then see if your family can find its way through our Corn Maze.
And remember — there’s no need to rush. Your timed ticket determines your arrival window, but once you’re checked in, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the farm until closing.
4. Take a Lunch Break
By now, you’ve probably worked up an appetite!
On weekends, stop by the Grill for fresh farm food and give everyone a chance to recharge before round two of your adventure.
Visiting on an October weekend? Make that lunch break even better with live music at the farm!
Join us on October Saturdays and Sundays from 1–4 PM for live music while you relax, eat, and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon.
5. Let the Kids Play — and Their Imaginations GROW!
After lunch, head toward our playground for plenty of room to climb, play, explore, and burn off some energy.
While you’re there, don’t miss AGMAGINATION™!
AGMAGINATION™ encourages children to imagine themselves as part of the world of agriculture. Farming takes much more than tractors and fields — it takes people with all kinds of talents and careers working together to grow, care for, transport, and provide our food.
It’s play with a purpose — and one of our favorite ways to help kids connect with agriculture.
6. Add a Few AGventures
Have some extra energy?
This is a great time to pull out your AGventure Fun Card and let everyone choose an extra adventure.
Take the wheel on our NEW Tractor Track, operate equipment in the NEW We Dig AG! Zone, try Goat Fishing, mine for gems, or discover another favorite.
Our cards are shareable, so your group can decide together how you’d like to use your punches.
7. Save the Wagon Ride for the Grand Finale
As your day starts winding down, hop aboard the wagon for a ride around the farm.
Sit back, rest your feet, and enjoy seeing the farm from a different perspective.
Then hop off near the Market and get ready for one of the most important decisions of the day…

8. There’s Always Room for Ice Cream!
You’ve conquered the Corn Maze. You’ve played. You’ve explored. You’ve picked the pumpkin.
There’s only one thing left to do.
ICE CREAM!
Stop by for a scoop of our homemade ice cream before heading home. With seasonal flavors and plenty of favorites to choose from, it’s the sweetest way we know to end a fall day at the farm.
