Forces & Motion Tour

Length of Tour:
Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on group size.

Educational Objectives:
We transform our attractions into an outdoor STEM laboratory where students discover the science of force and motion through exciting, hands-on investigations across Patterson Farm.

Students don’t simply learn about gravity, friction, force, mass, and motion—they experience these concepts firsthand through interactive challenges that promote critical thinking, teamwork, scientific inquiry, and real-world problem solving while meeting North Carolina 5th Grade Science Standards.

All tours include access to Pawpaw Carl’s Playground, our expanded Agmagination*** and Picnic Area. Participants are welcome to visit these areas prior to or after their tour.
