Pumpkin Patch Tours

Length of Tour:
Approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on group size.

Pumpkin Patch Tour Educational Objectives:
Students will explore the fascinating life cycle and parts of a pumpkin—from seed to fruit—through hands-on learning and farm experiences. The tour aligns with core curriculum standards and brings agricultural education to life!

Tour Includes the following:

• Pumpkin Patch Theater Experience: You may opt to view the presentation in your classroom prior to your trip if you have limited time at the farm!
  • Monday & Tuesday: Puppet Show Presentation
  • Wednesday – Friday: Educational Video
• Tractor-drawn wagon ride
• Expanded Farm Animal Experience
• Hands on Activity at the Farm
• Small Pumpkin for every student, teacher, and chaperone
• Student Activity Book

Teacher Resources:

• Pre- and post-tour activities to reinforce learning
• Hands-On Activity for students to complete in the classroom after their visit to the farm to reinforce lessons learned on the farm
• One classroom-sized pumpkin per class

All tours include access to Pawpaw Carl’s Playground, our expanded Agmagination*** and Picnic Area. Participants are welcome to visit these areas prior to or after their tour.

What is Agmagination?
Agmagination is our hands-on, imaginative agricultural career exploration zone. Children role-play and learn about farm-related professions through creative, dramatic play in a mini farm town setting.
