For the third year, cyclists from all over will challenge themselves by riding thru the beautiful, scenic landscape of Rowan County. This unique ride begins at Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. during strawberry season. After the ride, cyclists and their families can enjoy picking strawberries and other activities at Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. The Ride benefits Hospice and the Rowan County United Way. This ride event has been tailored to suit riders of all skill level and all types of bicycles. There are three route options which are 20, 40 or 60 miles . The ride will be fully supported with SAG vehicles, mechanical support, rest stops, and crossing guards at busy intersections. Lunch will be provided.

Timing for the Great Berry Ride will be provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners. Bib/Bike Numbers must be visible at all times during the race.

Unique custom designed Race Shirts are available to the first 100 registered.
Ride Cancellation Policy: In the event of severe inclement weather,unsafe weather or other conditions, local, state or national emergency and the race must be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Ride Director or the Ride Committee, refunds will not be made. Arrangements will be made for Race Packets and Shirts to be picked up at an appropriate time and location determined by the Ride Director and Ride Committee.
Ride Rules & Guidelines: Participant safety is our top priority for the Great Berry Ride. With safety in mind, participants are required to obey all traffic laws, volunteer and safety personnel instructions. Earbuds and headphones are not permitted while riding for safety reasons. Ride Director reserves the right to reject any entry or to remove any participant from the course without explanation if they pose a safety risk or are not following guidelines.
Riders can pre-register at SPORToften (coming soon) for a reduced entry fee of $35 until Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Registration on the day of the race is $40.
